Should we eat breakfast?

I get asked the "is it bad if I dont eat breakfast?" question most days
Cross sectional evidence (like the study Im sighting in this video) are great for identifying patterns that can then help us to look further into what needs a closer look.
And before people take this the wrong way, I personally love eating breaky 😂
But thats just me, and there’s many people out there that dont share my sentiment.
So, taking a statistic like " people who eat breakfast are 30% less likely to be overweight" sounds great on paper, but isn’t something that needs to be taken as gospel and blown out of proportion. In this particular study, there are a multitude of other factors that probably play a bigger role in the fact they were managing weight (protein intake for one)
for example
Drinking alcohol probably has a massive correlation to pregnancy (did with ours thats for sure 😂) but we know its not what caused it (was my penis in case you're wondering)
By the same token, I always see fire fighters at car crashes. Correlation?, absolutely. should we get nervous driving when we see one? No 😂🤷♂️
Eating breaky is a great way to start the day, and will definitely help with compliance if you're someone that starves until dinner, then drives to KFC
My point is, if you’re someone that cannot, or will not eat in the mornings, its not the end of the world, you can work around it, and you’re not "rUiNiNg YoUr MeTaBoLiSm"
Get active, sus your calories, eat your protein, and dont stress
(PS: This post has literally nothing to do with IF 🥴😂)
